Participation in the seminar

Endevour company took part in the seminar of Poltava Regional Department of the State Labor Service of Ukraine devoted to the “Prevention and elimination of accidents at oilfield drilling and workover. The analysis, causes and measures to prevent accidents”. Personnel of the company had presented analysis of the causes of major accidents while drilling, the expertise to eliminate them and, most importantly, measures for their prevention.

The event was attended by representatives of fifteen E&P, drilling and service companies. All participants expressed their confidence that life and health of employees are the highest value, and companies must ensure the unconditional observance of the QHSE rules in their activities. The panelists reached consensus that the accidents and complications are much easier and cheaper to prevent than to eliminate.

Representatives of Poltava Regional Department of the State Labor Service of Ukraine noted that such activities should be carried out periodically to share the best practices and coordinate market participants.
