Labor Service seminar on Eurostandards

April 26 at the State Labor Service Office in Poltava a seminar for oil&gas sector companies was held in cooperation with Endevour company.

The topic of the event was specified as “Comparative analysis of Non-Destructive Testing procedures of drilling equipment and tools in accordance with the requirements of international and Ukrainian standards”. Major producing, drilling and service companies of our region, such as Region, GeoAlliance, Ukrainian Service Drilling Company – 1, Arab Energy Alliance UA, Energofinance, SKS KRS, Flox Ukraine, Service Engineering Company and others took part in the seminar.

The meeting was opened by the First Deputy Head Alexander Maslenko. He noted that this event is taking place in the frame of the World Day for Safety and Health at Work and introduced the plan of events dedicated to this annual humanitarian action.

Participants noted that Endevour team had prepared an interesting and helpful information on the following topics:

• System of Technical Regulation and Standardization of the European Union and Ukraine;
• Comparative analysis of Non-Destructive Testing procedures of drilling equipment and tools in accordance with the requirements of international and Ukrainian standards;
• The solution of organizational and technical problems related to the withdrawal of GOST standards developed prior to 1992.

In addition, participants had the opportunity to consider priorities for further work to create safe working conditions at the enterprises, share their experiences and get qualified answers to their questions from Labor Service professionals.
