Endevour completed the first drill bit service project for UGV on Melykhivske field in the Kharkiv region<\/span>. For this project, we used PDC bits from our traditional partner National Oilwell Varco, the world leader in the manufacture of drill bits.<\/p>\n

Actual ROP for 8.5\u2033 borehole exceeded the design values and traditional for this field at more than 10 (!) times and 6.5 times for 5.5\u2033 bits. Intervals of 2978-3660 meters in 215.9 mm diameter and 3685-3900 in 139,7 mm diameter were drilled in record time and two times faster than according to the bit program. For the first time in the field\u2019s history, both intervals were drilled with one bit, while the lower interval \u2013 with one trip. Moreover, both bits aren\u2019t fully dull and can be used on further projects.<\/p>\n

Thus, the model of outsourcing of drilling services on wells drilled by Ukrburgaz, showed its extremely effectiveness. Endevour continues to provide drill bit service on several UGV\u2019s wells and expects to achieve similar results.<\/p>\n

The results of drilling from now on will be a guide for drilling next wells on Melykhivske and other fields. As of today, these results are not only unsurpassed for Ukrburgaz, but are not always accessible to local private drilling companies that use much better equipment.<\/p>\n

The company won the contract during the bidding at the Prozorro system, saving more than 68%(!) of the Customer\u2019s budget. Due to the combined economy due to impressive drilling speed and reduced risk, the economic benefits for UGV is equal to hundreds of thousands of dollars, and huge amount of gas for the energy independence of Ukraine.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
