We see the development of oil and gas industry and the way to energy independence in fruitful interaction between all market participants, and proud of our employees who take active position to achieve these goals. Our teammates are active participants and organizers of the various research activities, including public lectures in Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas. This time, the Well Drilling Department with the assistance of its graduate, the Director of Drilling and Well design Solutions Department of Endevour Andrii Livinskiy invited a colleague from of the world leading manufacturer of the oil and gas equipment National Oilwell Varco. Vasiliy Zbaraskiy, Regional Engineering Manager Europe and Sub-Sahara Africa, presented a series of lectures for drilling engineering students and the scientists of the University. The distinguished guest reviewed issues of optimal decision making to ensure the drilling process; bit size and design selection for certain drilling conditions and achieving wide range of goals; analyzing and evaluation of string vibrations. Besides, the newest designs of NOV PDC bits and innovative technologies of downhole equipment for vibrations reduction have been presented at the lectures.<\/span><\/p>\n
